“ We used to visit this place when they first opened many years ago, we haven’t been for a while but noticed most aspects have dropped. Good is the serving size is still generous, and price is decent at today’s level. However all let down by the poor service and the general cleanliness and untidiness of the restaurant. ”

“ Solid Chinese restaurant with great pan fried dumplings - watch out because they are very juicy; the sauce may squirt and is very hot. The pan fried bao and xiao long bao were okay in flavour. The xiao long bao was pretty juicy but the pan fried bao lacked juice. Could have packed more meat/filling for both. Overall, they taste okay with vinegar and chilli sauce dipping sauce. Scallion pancake was more crunchy than flaky, leaning towards being hard like a biscuit. Maybe thats just personal preference but I would’ve liked it softer. Seasoning was alright. The duck roll is good, the sweetness of the hoisin sauce makes it not too dry . The pancake is soft yet flaky. The mouth watering marvel mouth watering chicken is flavourful but leans on the saltier side. I did not eat the noodles but apparently they were okay: - The Beijing style noodle was like your standard cold mix noodle, similar to korean jajamyeong i guess. - The pickled green and noodle soup tasted up to par, with a fair amount of beef pieces and noodle texture not being soggy. - The pork prawn and pork wonton were average, although my partner commented that the soup was very flavourful. The water jugs, extra plates/bowls and cutlery are all self serve, as is the take away containers. The service was relatively fast and they tables were clean. ”
